INTRODUCTION
Sure, it takes a certain amount of attitude to wear satin gear in public - but if you don't mind the attention and if you kinda like turning heads, there is no better fabric for a fun and sexy night out. You have NO idea how many incredibly hot men and women that have come up to me over the years when I have worn, say, a satin suit to a club - they all want to feel it and ask me where I got it. Pretty awesome, hehe - trust me, my gear gets me laid J
WHY DO I GET SATIN GEAR CUSTOM MADE?
Anyone who has been looking to buy a satin shirt, satin suit, satin jeans etc. will have noticed that clothes like that are very hard to come by. Sure, satin is high fashion for men and very trendy, but finding the right gear, the right shirt or the right jeans in the right color etc. is hard. Either you end up with an awesome silk satin D&G or Versace shirt - but $500-1000 is often the price tag for shirts like that. On the other end of the spectrum are the $30 satin shirt and tie combos in polyester satin from various vendors on eBay or from International Male - OK for some people, but the quality is also worth only $30 and they are made from thin polyester.
I exclusively use real acetate satin. It's the kind of satin that was used for shirts, shorts, suits and baseball/disco jackets in the 70's and 80's and is now widely used in show costumes, for coat linings and satin bridal gowns (hence also known as bridal satin). Acetate satin has a truly incredible shine and softness, drapes extremely well and looks absolutely fantastic in the light. 95% of the gear we sell is made f rom acetate satin.
Finding off-the-rack satin gear made from acetate satin is virtually impossible today. The expensive designer shirts are mostly made from silk satin (also nice, but very expensive and less shiny than acetate) and cheaper shirts are made from thin polyester or rayon satin, which feels like cotton on the dull side. If you love satin, that's not really the feeling you want.
Gear made from thick, slick, shiny acetate satin just isn't made anymore for some reason - until I decided to start making it again for myself - now, as before, I can really dress to shine and impress J
